Stray Cat Gives Birth Under Man's Bed, His Reaction is Priceless
What would you do if a stray cat decided to have her litter of kittens under your bed?
Now, that seems like an outlandish hypothetical. But in Paris Zarcilla's case, it was a reality--an adorable, fluffy reality--that has transformed him overnight into a #CatDad.
The best part of this whole crazy kitty happenstance is Zarcilla's reaction on his Twitter account. Reading through his thread, it feels like you're right there with him on the emotional rollercoaster that is new parenthood.
He starts out in the slightly dazed, slightly confused phase.
But it doesn't take long for Zarcilla to realize that he's in it for the long haul with his new cat family!
He realized he had some new responsibilities as a new dad.
Just cancelled my order for comics and single malt whiskey. Now buying cat food. This is fatherhood yo! I'm here for this pic.twitter.com/dGU6JkcejE

And made a solemn vow that every cat dad (and cat mom) has made.
To my cat sons and daughters, I'll be the hero you deserve, but not the one it needs right now (because of mama cat). So I'll hunt for you, because I can afford it. I'll be your silent guardian, your watchful protector. Love, #CatDad pic.twitter.com/JkaUpGzXCP

He also realized the beauty of dad-hood.
It was a pretty emotional night, all around.
But everyone came through, happy and healthy.
Literally re-emerging from underneath the bed. Possibly now as a different person. Reborn as #CatDad. Wiser. Hairy-er. Learning secrets of the universe and life through the unexpected birth of these gaddamn fluff miracles. Praise be to the Cat Gods. Meow pic.twitter.com/IAcqYK6eBN

Zarcilla is unsure how exactly the new mother got into his house and under his bed, but speculates she might have snuck in through the back door, which he sometimes leaves open.
The brand-new mom might also belong to a neighbor, and Zarcilla is seeking help from Cats Protection in London to care for the mom and her kittens - and to see if the new mom has a microchip!
PARIS, God Bless You for being open to all God’s Blessings, and not limiting that to what some would think. What you did and are doing is a magnificent thing. You opened your heart to the world’s possibilities and accepted the gifts and challenges put in front of you. And you recognized the significations of whatever God puts before you and readily accepted that. And then you shared with the World. That Mama and her Kittens were not put there by mistake. You have put out your experience to the world and I believe that will make a difference. You will be a phenomenal kat dad. And you will be amazed what kats bring into your life. Maybe there is a come-forward owner of the Mama Kat, but maybe not. I want to thank you for what you have done and are doing. ~Susan P.S. Seems there are “Cat Gods”. Research “Bastet” and then watch the movie: “Thomisina”. I watched that movie when I was 7 yrs old and FINALLY came to understand at age 42.
