Cat Brings Stolen Flowers To Her Favorite Neighbors Every Day

We have all heard of cats bringing their owners “Gifts”, but they’re usually of the, uh, dead animal variety. Whether it is mice, birds, or the occasional insect (my cat is particularly fond of giant moths and crunchy grasshoppers), cats like to surprise the people they like with these friendly little gifts. But one UK kitty’s tastes run a bit different.

Meet Willow. She steals flowers from her owner’s garden and brings them to her favorite neighbor, Rosie, almost every day.

Rosie first started noticing pink flowers scattered on her terrace in early spring. At first, she naturally assumed it was the wind blowing flowers into her yard, until her flatmate said he’d seen Willow with a pink flower in her mouth.

"I'd never seen her with them before. But for the past few weeks now, there's been a new little flower on the deck every couple of days," Rosie told Love Meow.

As days went by, the number of flowers accumulated; but still no proof that Willow was Rosie’s secret admirer.

"For a while, It was just a legend that it was her until yesterday when I was cooking and spotted her jumping down with a pink flower in her mouth," Rosie said. "I was so excited that I went to film it because she's so cute and I'd never seen a cat ever bring back anything but dead animals before."

Willow has been visiting Rosie almost every day since she moved in., content to barge her way into her neighbors’ houses and demand attention, and maybe a few snacks. "Willow rules over about six of the gardens, and I'm pretty sure she gets fed by everyone because she's very difficult to say no to." I have a hard enough time saying no any cat, let alone if they brought me flowers! 

Rosie and her roomies even save cardboard boxes just for Willow and have taken to keeping cat food and treats around for their beloved feline visitor.

The spoiled gardener sure isn’t shy about making herself at home!
